Our very first U13 Junior county team, led by Debbie Rigby, has got through to the Shires finals at Loughborough University on Sunday 10th May - proving they are in the top 8 in the country.
Meanwhile, our very first 075 team, captained by Sylvia Gill, play in the Masters' County Championships Finals (along with our 065A and 070A teams...now that's what you call strength and depth) in Birmingham on Saturday 25th April where they have a straight final against Kent.
The 065A and 070A team will play in the semi-finals on the 25th April before hopefully getting to the finals on the 26th April.
And the secret to our young and old successes?
For Debbie's U13 team, it is definitely CAKE. 'Bribery works every time,' said Debbie Rigby.
And for the 075 team? 'Well, I wish the secret to our success was prosecco,' said Captain, Sylvia Gill, 'but it's more likely to be more carpe diem.' #pricelessasalways
