Lizzie Tolman won her first World Tour event medal in the Yonex-Sunrise Guwahati Masters this weekend, an amazing silver medal in the mixed with her partner Rory Easton.
Well done, Lizzie! We will all be watching out for you in the Odisha Masters.
Following in her path, so many of our talented Lancashire youngsters played in the Nationals down in Nottingham this weekend.
In the U15 Nationals, Yusuf Bilal, Anirudh Sanil and Ananya Sanil performed very well and were, as always, a credit to their county.
In the U11 Nationals, we again had three young stars playing: Isaac Parry, Yuqian Zhang and Tanvi Dusara.
Tanvi got through to the quarter finals in the singles, where she was beaten by her doubles partner, Tanvi Kumar. Just like Lizzie, however, Tanvi went on to win an amazing silver medal in the girls' doubles.
What a fantastic achievement!
