Welcome to MASTERS BADMINTON in Lancashire.
To be a Masters County player and to be eligible to play in the County teams you must be over the age of 38 and must have current Lancashire Badminton affiliation and Badminton England membership.
If the aim is to represent the County on a regular basis and play Masters tournaments then Badminton England Compete membership will also be required.

There are 2 Badminton England Masters County competitions that Lancashire are involved in:
1. Masters County Championship
This is run as a league over the season, generally 4-6 matches played home and away, competing in the Northern section. The league winners will progress to the Finals on April 25th and 26th, 2026.
The match format is Ladies, Mens and Mixed Doubles.
All matches are played at Markland Hill Racquets Club in Bolton on Sundays with a start time of 13.00pm. A list of the home fixtures is shown below.
2. Masters County Challenge
This event will take place over the weekend of January 10th and 11th, 2026 and is held at various venues around the Country.
The match format is Ladies, Mens and Mixed Doubles.
The LCBA also host the following Masters Tournament:
Lancashire Masters Silver Tournament
This event will be held over the weekend of January 31st and February 1st, 2026 at Markland Hill Racquets Club in Bolton. Ladies, Open and Mixed Doubles events will be run across all the age groups from 35+ to 75+ inclusive. Enter online by logging in to your account on Tournament Software.
