Every Sunday morning, fun badminton sessions with three Level 1 assistant coaches - Nigel, Claire and Arif - and recently qualified Level 2 coach, Yong, take place at The Adrenaline, Haslingden.
A coaching court is available for all players: the primary focus of the Rossendale Juniors is, however, fun, friendly badminton.
We like to take part in events in the community around Haslingden, such as the Helmshore Scarecrow Trail and the Waterfoot Wakes' Parade.
From 9-10am: a Primary age group on three courts
From 10am - 11:30am: a Secondary age group on all four courts
The first session is free: after that, the Primary session is £2 and the Secondary session is £3. Racquets and shuttles are provided along with weekly incentives such as Sticker of the Week and Coach Award of the Week. The Primary session has just started a Bronze, Silver and Gold award scheme for its youngest players.
The Rossendale Juniors currently enter teams in the Greater Manchester Junior tournament and the M65 in Colne in addition to organising our own singles competitions for boys and girls.
