Vision
To give every section of society in Lancashire a chance to play ,enjoy and appreciate that badminton is a sport for life.
To implement the vision of Badminton England which includes increasing the number of people playing badminton and building a thriving badminton community.
To create an environment whereby players will be given the opportunity to maximise their potential or even simply their involvement in the game
Purpose
To lead the development of badminton in the county,by investing and growing badminton participation in a sustainable way.This will be achieved partly by creating development initiatives and by encouraging greater inclusivity.
To bring greater community cohesion to the sport by the coordination of badminton activity in Lancashire . The CBA will support the badminton community by providing information, guidance or practical assistance where required .
To determine those matters which are considered important to the development of badminton in Lancashire
To represent the views of the badminton community at the Council of Badminton England.
Strategic priorities
To provide support and guidance to leagues and clubs in order to deliver greater participation and thus grow badminton at local and county level
To support and develop safe and enjoyable experiences for all players and promote safeguarding awareness,education and inclusivity
To create strategic partnerships to achieve common goals.
To encourage and support young people to start playing badminton,and promote the principle of 'badminton for life and health.'
To be adaptive and embrace change, innovation and be a leader in promoting sustainability.
To respond to issues raised and ensure appropriate feedback is provided
