Lancashire County Badminton Association can provide contributory funding for individuals undertaking Badminton Coaching qualifications through the Badminton England Coach Education Programme.
Usually, the coaching qualification is for use outside the Association’s direct activities but still for activities in the County which comply with the objectives of the Association (as included in the Rules of the Association see the ‘About’ tab).
As a result, the Association does not fully fund coaching courses as there will be other beneficiaries from the awarding of the Qualification, and these parties should also be approached for contributory funding.
The structure of the Association contribution is fixed and can be claimed once the course payment to Badminton England has been made.
(Level 1) / Foundation Course: £25.00 plus £5 per session (to maximum of 10) in coaching participation.
(Level 2) / Coach course: £50.00 plus £5 per session (to maximum of 10) in coaching participation.
(Level 3) / UKCC Level 3: £100.00 plus £5 per session (to maximum of 10) in coaching participation.
To qualify for the additional session participation, a mentor to the applicant is needed to confirm to the Association that participation has actually been undertaken. Qualifying sessions can be before, during or after the course completion.
